This is a simple table setting for my son’s 27th birthday. I try to keep it simple when it’s a family get together – not a single man in my family wants to wash layer upon layer of dishes – no matter how pretty they look. And (quite honestly) I want them to feel inclined to wash the dishes – so I compromise :-)
I love this Lennox pattern, I’ve used them in both Spring and Fall, the colors are wonderful…
Today, for fall I went with rust napkins, neutrals, and splashes of turquoise…..
The salad plates were a Christmas gift, I found the matching dinner plates at TJ Maxx (yeah!), the place mats, napkins, flowers, and lotus candle-holders are also from T. If only we had a Home Goods, I’m have more variety. Oh! the napkin rings are Pier One – I do travel.
I’m linking with Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.
Thanks for visiting, tomorrow I’m participating in Foodie Friday with our all grilled dinner – I hope you’ll stop in.

Beautiful — this looks great! This is one of my fave casual patterns — I even blogged about it once. Lovely!

Beautiful color combination! I, too, wish you had a Home Goods. It is a pretty neat store. The closest one to me is about 25 miles, but I will make that drive when I need to! :-) My sister has THREE – all within a 25 minute drive from her house – in Minneapolis, MN. That’s not fair! They need to spread the wealth!!! I often have to call upon her to find additional pieces for me when there are not enough at the one here. Your table is beautiful! Have a great weekend!
