Hubby's Ice Cream Cake
- angel food cake cut into large cubes
- 1 small box of each strawberry, lime, orange jello (not sugar free)
- 1 C each sliced strawberries, blueberries, mandarin oranges
- 1 gallon vanilla ice cream softened
- Place ⅓ of the angel food cake cubes in a zip lock bag or plastic container with lid.
- Add one package of the jello powder.
- Shake to coat.
- Lift the cake from container and discard excess jello powder.
- Repeat with the other ⅔ cake and 2 flavors of jello, set aside.
- In an angel food cake pan begin layering strawberries, ice cream, red angel food cake,ice cream, repeat.
- The second layer is the blueberry/lime jello combo, a layer of ice cream.
- Finish with the mandarin oranges and orange jello.
- The final layer is ice cream.
- Freeze - we usually assemble the day before serving.
