Now you see why I’ve been trimming bushes to look like Bonsai, I have a theme going on…….
My mother gave me Imari dinner plates, Lenox salad plates, and bowls for Christmas, we’re using them this week for her birthday celebration…..
The adorable “Chirp” salad plates were a little too large to show off the dinner plates, so I made a switch to some small Imari plates that hang in my living room….
With so much color in the plates, I tried to keep everything else simple…..
I was fortunate to find silk napkins at Pier 1 that combine the red silk table runners and the gold chargers…..
My parents were married in Japan, the Sake set was a wedding gift….
The Geisha dolls were a TJ Maxx purchase, you know I couldn’t leave TJ out of a table setting….
I think we’re ready for Mom’s birthday……
Thank you for visiting, I’ll be sharing photos of our weekend outing to the race track if we aren’t snowed in again…….
Susan, our hostess for Tablescape Thursday is waiting for your visit at Between Naps on the Porch – she has a list of participants for you to visit – such a fun way to spend some quiet time.
