My Fairy Gardens were in dire need of a remodel this spring….this is the end result…I didn’t want a “before” photo as the featured image…it was sad following the winter.
See what I mean…cracked bowl…plants that hadn’t come back after the snow..it was in a sad state….
So off the Harper’s Lawn ornaments for a new bird bath….hubby drilled holes so it wouldn’t hold water and then the fun part began…
We purchased a tray of succulent ground cover at Lowes …I like to use these little succulents because they typically survive the winter…if they can survive freezing temps and live on rain water…they’re exactly the kind of plant I need.I like to push a few nasturtium seeds in the dirt too for a fun pop of color.
The entire setting was based around my gypsy trailer…love the colors of the trailer and all the accessories…a tent from the same colorful line is in the bird bath on the other side of the walk. I couldn’t have just one fairy garden.
If I could enlarge the chair…it would be the perfect spot to sit and read a book with the campfire…beside the water…
