Grilled salmon and veggies were prepared for dinner last night to accompany the wine from our visit to Trump Winery. Brandon and Kat (#1 son (oldest)and #1 daughter-in-law) treated us to a feast…gotta love house guests that cook.
We were treated to salmon on the grill…it was topped with fresh dill and Raspberry Jalepeno jelly…we love the sweet spicy taste …
One side dish was shaved Brussels Sprouts and sliced snow peas tossed with fig balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper…grilled in a veggie basket until slightly tender.
The last side was Kat’s signature salad…a tossed combination of chopped colored bell peppers, English cucumber, mushrooms, broccoli, baby lettuces, sliced almonds, and a few blueberries. Drizzle with a little olive oil and (tonight) cherry balsamic vinegar…oh so tasty!
It was a light, easy to prepare, delicious dinner that was perfect with our Trump Sauvignon Blanc…I can’t wait to see what they’re serving next! We bought several bottles so the possibilities are endless…yay!
