Thanks for joining me for a little coffee chat. It’s official…I survived another winter…it was touch and go on some of those single digit days…
I love where I live; however, I wouldn’t complain if that global warming that I hear about would direct it’s heat to my location in the winter months. I love sweater weather, parka and glove days…not so much. Flip flop days are perfect for me.
What better way to celebrate the first day of spring than by going to a winery for lunch? The kiddos from San Diego are visiting and it’s off to Trump Vineyard we go!
We enjoyed every wine…I believe we tasted six and all were great. Before the end of the tasting, we ordered lunch…crab cakes, a rustic BLT, a ham sandwich, salmon spread, and soup …everything was delicious.
We have blooming flowers and tress…I love the first signs of spring and try to ignore the fact that it snowed 2 days ago…my mother offered to share her ranunculus…to be fair to the plants and give them a chance at survival…I simply took photos to enjoy. They’re gorgeous, but unless they can survive on rain ..they will die of thirst at my house…succulents are even in jeopardy some years.
