J is for…junk or is it another man’s treasure? One of my favorite “me” time treats is to visit Karen’s Emporium just a few minutes down the road. Karen always greets with a hug and a smile – she just has a way of making you feel like a guest in your home. Her shop is filled will primitive antiques and crafts. Karen and her husband, Jonathan, go “picking” and bring back all their wonderful finds – I can always count on a great new stash of fun stuff. I’ve found old scales, wreaths for the doors, great old tool boxes, and a couple of adorable nightstands. Last summer she delivers an old rail road cart that I use for a coffee table on our big porch. It looks like the replicas I see in Pottery Barn – mine is the real deal and it was less than the PB newby. I snapped a few photos of her seasonal craft pieces while visiting yesterday…if I hadn’t adopted two of these cute dolls last week, this sweet girl would have come home with me….
there were lots of scales yesterday, but I was strong….
Look at this Glam-spider….I could live with that creepy crawly….
love the pumpkin filled urns outside….
Karen is going to have the cutest Santas, oh my…I can’t wait to see them….I’ll share.
Thanks for visiting!
