F is for fairy garden and the transition to fall. When I was young, oh so long ago….the school bus route passed by a house that had a small side window that had a monthly vignette. I so enjoyed seeing what the home owner created in the window – just a little something she did for people traveling by. I certainly don’t go to that much effort, I change a few things for the seasons – but I always remember the homeowner fondly when it’s time to switch things up. The one spot I do go crazy is with back porch seasonal decor ( decor is such a nice word for clutter or junk) and silly seasonal dress-ups of my fairy gardens. This year it was time to do a refresh of some weather worn items – and Hubby did a little shopping for me. Yes, some men bring home flowers, mine brought me so fairy garden bunting and trinkets – yay!
the jack-o-lanterns rotate and become simple pumpkins for Thanksgiving…magical transformation…
It’s my outdoor version of a doll house. The bird baths began as succulent gardens, I have tiny varieties growing that come back every year – definitely my kind of plants.
We’re all set for fall in this tiny garden – thanks for visiting!
