I’m taking a photo editing class from Kim Klassen, last week the challenge was to create color boards from our photos. I took the liberty of tweaking the challenge and created color boards from fabric swatches. I’m in the planning stages of a bedroom redo and using the fabric swatches to create the color boards is a great way to give me ideas about the direction I want to go in.This first fabric is a strong contender for the duvet cover. I recently added a red pillow ticking dust ruffle to the antique iron bed in this room – so a touch of red is a must.
This is a Nate Berkus fabric…..
This one has the elephants that I like, but no red in site…..
Another little tweak with my class assignments…..new watermarks…..
the challenge involved drawing text in or on a shape, I decided to put this to a more practical use for me and create new watermarks for my photos. I’ve stamped them on a red background so they show up.
I can’t imagine my photos being worthy of a steal. However, I’ve found my puppy photos on other profiles on Instagram – so watermark it is.
