I’m sharing a little garden morph today – I’ve been meaning to for weeks and keep forgetting until Tuesday morning. Lucky me, Hubby ordered another WWII movie from Netflix – I swear they take a golf cart to the back 40 to find the movies he requests. So it was either nap or blog….here I am. Now if I can only remember where I’ve stored the photos.
After seeing tons of old bicycles on Pinterest that some clever person had painted and placed in the flowerbeds – I set out on a quest for one of my very own. I won’t tell you what I paid for this rusty heap – but (IMO) it was more than it was worth. It does make me fell better that I’ve seen them for much more…….
two cans of spray paint later…
Hubby, moaned when he saw my color selection :-)
It’s parked in front of the old smoke house – I got caught calling it a potting shed once – it sounded so much cuter. In actuality, it’s the old smoke house – Hubby added windows and a cupola for me several years ago.
Now when we pull up in the drive – straight ahead is my pink bike with (faux) daisies in the basket. Someday I’m certain it will rust away, but until then…it’s pretty in pink.
Thanks for visiting.
I’m joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Metamorphosis Monday
