I recently saw the Barefoot Contessa make brownie pie and decided to give it a whirl. I took a short cut – hoping for the same gooey, little bit of heaven, chocolate treat…..
I used a Ghirardelli Brownie mix. I mixed the batter according to the package directions, then added 1Tblsp instant espresso, 2 tsp cinnamon, and 1/2tsp vanilla (I’m guessing the amounts, I shake and pour)…
Add a few Ghirardelli chips (milk and semi-sweet) to the top and bake according to package directions. After baking, I melted a few of said chips with a little milk and drizzled over the top.
To make the brownie pie a healthy choice, I added some sliced fresh strawberries. Because there clearly wasn’t enough chocolate, I drizzled a little over the strawberries.
Thanks for visiting!
