Last week we celebrated my mother’s birthday with a family dinner, let’s begin with the table…..
We’ve had a few warm-er days recently, so spring was on my mind as I set the table. One can always hope…..
I was burning the candles to get them to a good height before dinner in these photos, oops…forgot to redo….
We began with wine and cheese, the Stilton was my favorite – so rich and creamy….
I served salmon with mango, linguine, and asparagus for dinner. The salmon recipe is from the 10 Minute Cuisine cookbook, the recipe is in the next post.
The grand finale was a white chocolate mousse cake with fresh raspberries, the layers of sponge cake were soaked with Grand Marnier from Giancarlo
Thank you for visiting, I hope to see you again soon….
Blondie's Journal says
Your table looks so pretty and the menu delicious. I wouldn’t mind having a piece of that cake! What a great party!
