Lasagna Soup is a favorite with Hubby and me on rainy days. It’s quick and easy, comfort food in a bowl.
Italian sausage, pasta, tomatoes, and basil…..
melted mozzarella on the bottom, yum…..
We toast a few slices of crusty bread for dipping……
Brown:
1 lb hot Italian sausage
2 cups chopped onions
1 cup diced carrots
2 cups button mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons minced garlic
Stir in:
4 cups chicken broth
1 large can diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon basil
Bring to a boil
Add:
1 cup mafalda or campenelle pasta
reduce heat, cook until pasta is tender
Serve over:
1 cup diced fresh mozzarella (divided between 8 bowls)
Top with:
grated fresh Parmesan cheese and fresh basil

I think The Wright Guys would really like this soup. Also your Pumpkin scone recipe does look more like scones than the one my employee gave me. I can see why after comparing the ingredients.
